The Group C, responsible of this wonderful job, opened two weeks ago a new place in Manta, with an investment of 1.8 million dollars and are expecting to open more locals in Quito and Cuenca in a close future. It is estimated that about 12 million dollars are going to be invested in the next three years.

The Panamanian operator administrates seven casinos and is planning to remodel the Uniscasino, which operates in the Hilton Columbus of Quito and the casinos of the Hotel Oro Verde and Machala.

Luis Frenado Freire, the Marketing Manager of Latin Gaming, assured that the market is growing very fast in Ecuador and most of the investments are from abroad. “It is a business with a great potential. The operators have planned to invest from 40 to 50 million dollars, which includes remodeling and construction of the new locals”, said Rubén Godoy, the Marketing Manager of Casinos del Mar.

Both businessmen agree that the competition is tough and that every casino is going after the same clients, besides recognizing that the game rooms that are being installed downtown Guayaquil are a business competition.
